This kit contains the following parts and machine work necessary to build a Hi Performance VW long block:

  • New AS41 engine case, hardware kit for engine case
  • Weld #1 and #3 beef up plates on case, align bore .020" after welding
  • Bore case 92's, deck case .070" for compression
  • New chromolly head stud kit 8mm
  • Rebuilt rods & cores
  • Rebuilt forged crankshaft & core
  • 8 pin SPG pattern crankshaft & flywheel
  • Used German crank gears
  • New 110 or 120 cam and gear
  • Reground lifters to match cam
  • German engine bearings, (rod, main, & cam)
  • German gasket set & seal, cam plug
  • Complete Engine Balance
  • New heavy duty full flow oil pump with filter
  • Rebuilt and lightened forged flywheel
  • New heavy duty gland nut and washer
  • New CIMA big bore 1750-1915 piston & cylinder kit
  • Cylinder cooling tins
  • New CNC ported EMPI heads, bore heads for larger cylinders
  • Used pair of rocker arms with new adjusting screws
  • New chromolly pushrods (stock length) and new stock pushrod tubes

We can assemble your 1750-1915 parts kit to a long block for an additional $600.00

Our 1915 cc engine with 10-1 compression ratio, Engle 120 cam, CNC Ported EMPI heads with match ported manifolds, and fitted with dual 40idf or 44IDF carbs will make 130 - 140 horse power at 5500 RPM.

If this is not enough horse power for your needs we also offer a Stroker Kit which includes the above but with a forged welded Stroker Crank in place of the stock one, Stroker Rods in the place of stock, the case is CNC CLEARANCED for 82 mm, the cam is CLEARANCED, CNC match port your manifolds $550.00 more.
